Not So Perfect

The two weeks prior to Super Bowl Sunday were just plain maddening if you were a Giant's fan. All we heard was how great Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Bill Belichick and the rest of the New England cast were. They were on the eve of greatness; of immortality. Even Stephen A. Smith, who I find entertaining most of the time, was rooting for the Pats just so Mercury Morris would be silenced:

"I'm telling you, I respect the Patriots if they do that, but right now, they haven't done that. So come to me, like I said, don't call me when you're in my town, call me when you're on my block, and I see you next door moving your furniture in. That's when I'll know you're going to the championship and you're about to play. And if you win it, I'll be dressed up in a tuxedo waiting on my bride."
- Mercury Morris

Well Mr. Morris, you can continue to talk because you're still on that block all by yourself. Well, you and the rest of the '72 Dolphins, LOL. You're still a member of the only team in NFL history to go undefeated! Congratulations Dolphins!! I don't think Tom Brady is laughing this morning.
